Co-Artistic Directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey share details of our summer 2025 season and festive family show, The BFG.

We have five new Shakespeare productions, a sparkling new version of Somerset Maugham’s The Constant Wife, the European premiere of Fat Ham and a nationwide tour of Rupert Goold’s Hamlet, all joining the previously announced Hamlet Hail to the Thief and 4.48 Psychosis for summer 2025.

Royal Shakespeare Theatre

  • Much Ado About Nothing Director Michael Longhurst kicks off the season with a new staging of Shakespeare’s original rom-com, set in the glossy world of professional football | 12 April - 24 May 2025

  • Titus Andronicus Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor Simon Russell Beale returns to the RSC alongside Associate Artist Emma Fielding in a new production of Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedy, directed by Max Webster | 17 April - 7 June 2025

HAMLET: UK TOUR

Opening in Stratford-upon-Avon this February, Shakespeare’s epic family saga, Hamlet will head on a UK Tour in 2026, directed by multi award-winning Director and incoming Artistic Director of the Old Vic, Rupert Goold. Full casting for the UK tour is yet to be announced.
