The smash hit family musical is coming to a theatre near you, with five new tour venues added.
Following the announcement that Matilda The Musical is heading on its second UK and Ireland Tour in October 2025, a further five venues have been added to the tour line-up.
In addition to the seven previously announced venues, you will now be able to see Matilda The Musical at Southampton's Mayflower Theatre in April 2026, followed by Bristol Hippodrome, Birmingham Hippodrome, Norwich Theatre Royal and Milton Keynes Theatre, where the show will play until 14 November 2026. The internationally-renowned musical based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl continues to play to packed houses in the West End at the Cambridge Theatre, and has been seen by 12 million people across 100 cities around the world.
Written by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and developed and directed by Matthew Warchus, this anarchic production about a strong and determined heroine with a vivid imagination has won over 100 global awards, including 24 for Best Musical.
