Much Ado About Nothing: Key Stage 3

21 May 2025, 10.15am - 12.15pm (plus a matinee show)

School groups can take part in a range of activities and experiences throughout the day, including an on-stage session with members of the company and a practical workshop.

The day begins with an Insight - an interactive, pre-show sessions where students are invited to join members of the acting company and creative teams in the theatre to explore how our productions are brought to life on stage. This is followed by a one hour workshop in the Clore Learning Centre. 

In the afternoon, schools can see the matinee performance of Much Ado About Nothing.

This open day is perfect for Key Stage 3 groups, with an in-depth focus on key scenes between Beatrice and Benedick.

The BFG: SEND Open Day

22 January 2026, 11am - 1pm (plus a matinee show)

Enjoy a big friendly welcome at our Open Day for SEND Schools, with an opportunity to meet some of the cast and crew of The BFG in the auditorium, including a familiarisation with the theatre and the onstage set-up. The open day takes place in a contained space within the RSC campus and offers plenty of low-key self-led activities to explore at your own pace. 

In the afternoon schools can see the Relaxed performance of The BFG.

The BFG: Primary Open Day

29 January 2026, 11am - 1pm (plus a matinee show)

Explore the world of The BFG with an interactive, pre-show session where students are invited to join members of the acting company and creative teams in the theatre to explore how the production is brought to life on stage. Then get stuck into a short bespoke workshop on The BFG in Clore Learning Centre tailored to your students’ interests. Dedicated lunch space for schools provided.  

In the afternoon, schools can see the matinee performance of The BFG.

This open day is perfect for Key Stage 2 groups.

Booking information 

Venue: Royal Shakespeare Theatre and RSC campus

State School Cost: £10 per student (plus the cost of a matinee ticket).

Independent Cost: £12.50 per student (plus the cost of a matinee ticket).

State schools can book matinee tickets for just £10 per student with RSC £10 Tickets for schools, sponsored by TikTok. Independent schools £16.50 per student.
