1931
This production of The Winter's Tale, directed by William Bridges-Adams, opened in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1931, before embarking on a transatlantic tour with several other productions.
It crossed America from Boston and Washington DC to Los Angeles and San Francisco, before moving north to venues across Canada, including Seattle, Vancouver and Toronto.
