Karen Nikki Cheung

This is Nikki's RSC debut. 

Nikki is a freelance ballet, jazz, and contemporary and musical theatre performer. She received comprehensive training in both classical and contemporary genres in Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York City and Copenhagen, and has worked with renowned choreographers such as Bradley Shelver, Desmond Richardson and Ernest Mandap. She has performed internationally in concerts, private events and television commercials.  

Stage includes: The Lion King (West End), Jacky Cheung’s A Classic Tour, Youth Arts Foundation’s Oliver! and Blood Brothers

Screen includes: The Freshman’s I’m Coming Home music video (actor and choreographer), dancer in Bradley Wayburne’s Staying Alive (television series). She competed in Hong Kong’s Best Dance Crew and Hong Kong Dance Power, and was named champion on both occasions.

Other: Nikki's work extends to providing quality dance education to students from beginner to professional levels. She is a registered Arts Therapist (AThR) with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA).
