Innovation is at the heart of the RSC and is critical to our cultural landscape in helping us to understand what it means to be human.

We have worked with technology companies, academics and artists throughout the last decade to explore storytelling across multiple platforms. As the first performing arts organisation to have been awarded Independent Research Organisation, we are continuing to ask how we bring new interpretations of Shakespeare to a global audience.
