BORN WITH TEETH

In the backroom of a pub, Kit Marlowe and Will Shakespeare are forced together in a creative union. Alone, with the table as their stage and battlefield, the rivals duel and flirt like their lives depend on it -  and with spies everywhere, betrayal is so tempting.

Daniel Evans directs Ncuti Gatwa as Christopher Marlowe and Edward Bluemel as William Shakespeare in Liz Duffy Adams’ Born With Teeth, a thrilling imagining of the relationship between two literary icons at odds with their time.

Born With Teeth plays at Wyndham’s Theatre in London's West End from 13 August.

First Encounters: King Lear

A king announces that he will divide his kingdom between his three daughters according to how much they love him - but what will the consequences be for family, nation and climate? Our First Encounters with Shakespeare production makes Shakespeare’s play about family, power and betrayal relevant for a new generation of theatregoers.

This 80-minute version of King Lear uses an edited version of the original play to create the perfect introduction for young people aged 7-13 and their families.

Public booking is now open at Hall for Cornwall.
Priority booking dates for other venues to be announced.
