Member Friend Events 

You can upgrade your Membership to a Friends Membership for an additional £20 a year. The RSC Friends organise and host events throughout the year. Recent guest speakers have included Tracy-Ann Oberman and Peter de Jersey.

  • RECEPTION FOR SHAKESPEARE'S BIRTHDAY

    Upper Circle Bar, Royal Shakespeare Theatre
    Saturday 26 April, 9.30am

    Join us and members of the acting Companies to toast to Shakespeare. There will be Bucks Fizz and cake, toasts and readings, all before heading into the town to watch the procession and the unfurling of flags. Wear a sprig of rosemary for remembrance if you can and celebrate all that Shakespeare has done for us.

  • IN CONVERSATION: FREEMA AGYEMAN

    Stratford Methodist Church
    Friday 16 May, 4pm

    After playing Olivia in the recent production of Twelfth Night, Freema has returned to Stratford-upon-Avon to play Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. Freema has had an extensive and award-winning career on stage, film and television and will be remembered for her time as the companion to Doctor Who and also appearing in the spin-off show Torchwood as well as recently receiving a What’s On Stage award for Best Supporting Performer for her role in Jamie Lloyd’s Romeo and Juliet on the West End in 2024.

    At the time of writing, it is too early for us to be able to arrange a speaker for our meeting in July but do put the above date in your diary and as soon as we are able to announce something, we will make sure you are contacted by email. The information will also appear on the Friends’ section of the RSC website and the poster on the Friends Information Desk before shows in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
